ENVIROME NETWORK

Proof of Environment.

The world's most comprehensive hyperlocal environmental sensor network. Deploy a solar-powered node. Measure your world. Earn rewards.

Be the first to know when nodes ship.

Environmental data has a blind spot.

Government monitoring is sparse, outdated, and averaged over miles. The air on your street is not the air at the nearest station.

1

Sparse coverage

One government sensor covers 100+ square miles. Your neighborhood gets a regional average, not a real reading.

2

Missing from decisions

Real estate listings show school ratings but not air quality. You can check noise levels before renting — nowhere.

3

Stale and siloed

Cities plan infrastructure on data that's years old and miles away. Researchers wait months for datasets that arrive incomplete.

How Envirome works

1

Deploy

Mount a solar-powered sensor node outdoors — balcony, rooftop, or pole. 3W solar panel with 2-day battery backup. No wiring needed.

2

Measure

7 core sensors continuously capture PM2.5, CO2, VOCs, noise, UV, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. Add the premium EPA Gas Pack for O3, NO2, and CO.

3

Earn

Your data flows to a marketplace where cities, researchers, and businesses pay for access. You earn 60–70% of data marketplace revenue.

7 core sensors. Expandable to 10+.

The most comprehensive outdoor environmental sensor available — with a premium EPA Gas Pack for regulatory-grade air quality monitoring. Two-chamber weather-resistant enclosure with 3W solar panel and 2-day battery backup.

EARLY WARNING

When seconds matter, density matters more.

A network of community-deployed nodes catches what sparse government sensors miss. Wildfire smoke. Earthquake tremors. Severe weather. Industrial leaks. The signals are in the data — if you have enough of it, fast enough, in the right places.

Wildfire detection

PM2.5 and CO spike together when smoke arrives, often hours before official AirNow alerts. Distributed nodes detect plume direction and speed in real time. Optional smoke-camera modules add visual verification.

PM2.5 · CO · VOC · camera

Earthquake & seismic activity

MEMS seismometer modules detect P-waves seconds before destructive S-waves arrive. A regional network can validate single-node detections through spatial correlation, distinguishing real events from passing trucks.

Seismometer · tilt · barometric pressure

Severe weather

Sudden pressure drops, wind shifts, and lightning detection identify approaching storms minutes before commercial radar resolves them. Rain rate and wind direction track storm cells block by block.

Pressure · wind · rain · lightning

Flooding

Ultrasonic water-level sensors track creek and river rise in real time. Combined with rain rate and soil moisture readings from upstream nodes, the network becomes a community-owned flash flood early-warning system.

Water level · rain · soil moisture

Industrial & chemical leaks

Sudden VOC, H2S, ammonia, or carbon monoxide spikes near refineries, factories, and pipelines reveal leaks long before regulators detect them. Fence-line monitoring is admissible community evidence.

VOC · H2S · NH3 · CO · formaldehyde

Radiation events

Geiger counter modules detect radiation spikes. A distributed network can map plume direction from a single source — relevant for nuclear facilities, medical isotope incidents, or transport accidents.

Geiger counter · radon

The network's value isn't any single reading — it's spatial correlation across hundreds of nodes. A single PM2.5 spike is noise. Twenty nodes across a 5-km radius spiking simultaneously is signal.

EVERYDAY INSIGHTS

Built for everyday questions, too.

Disasters get headlines, but most of the value is in the daily decisions a denser network finally makes possible.

🌡️ Heat island mapping

Cities can be 5–10°C hotter on one block than another. Temperature and humidity readings across the network reveal where heat-vulnerable residents live and where shade investments would matter most.

Temp · humidity · surface IR (future)

🌱 Microclimate gardening

USDA hardiness zones average over hundreds of square miles. Your backyard might be a half-zone different. Soil moisture, temperature, light, and rain data turn guesswork into precision.

Temp · soil moisture · light · rain

🏃 Outdoor exercise timing

Air quality changes hour by hour — and block by block. Real-time PM2.5, ozone, and temperature data help runners, cyclists, and parents find the cleanest windows for outdoor activity in their actual neighbourhood.

PM2.5 · O3 · temp · humidity

🏖️ Recreation safety

Is the beach water safe today? Is the UV high enough to need sunscreen? Is the surf workable? Real-time data from coastal nodes answers questions tourism boards and parents both ask.

UV · water temp (future) · wind · waves (future)

🏫 Healthy schools

Kids spend 6+ hours a day in classrooms. Indoor PM2.5, CO2, and VOC monitoring catches HVAC failures, mould, and chemical exposures. EPA grants fund school air quality monitoring directly.

PM2.5 · CO2 · VOC (Sense Indoor)

🦟 Mosquito risk

Standing water + warm temperatures = mosquito breeding. Public health departments and vector control districts use this data to target larvicide application — preventing outbreaks before they start.

Water level · temp · humidity

❄️ Frost & freeze warning

A single late freeze can wipe out a citrus crop or vineyard. Hyperlocal temperature, dew point, and wind data give farmers hours of advance notice — enough to deploy frost cloth or run the wind machines.

Temp · humidity · wind · dew point

🚦 Traffic & emissions

Block-by-block PM2.5 and NO2 data reveals which roads contribute most to neighbourhood pollution. Citizen science transforms vague complaints into actionable evidence for traffic-calming campaigns.

Real Estate

So buyers and renters can see the air quality, noise, and weather of a home before they sign

Health & Insurance

Microclimate exposure risk underwriting, public health research

Climate Research

Longitudinal hyperlocal datasets for academic and policy research

ESG & Compliance

Verified environmental reporting for corporate sustainability mandates

Agriculture

Soil, rain, and atmospheric data for precision farming

60–70% of data marketplace revenue to operators

The highest operator economics in the industry.

When institutions buy access to your environmental data, 60–70% of that data marketplace revenue goes directly to you — the person who deployed and maintains the node. Before institutional buyers are onboarded, operators earn bootstrap network rewards to incentivise early deployment.

  • More sensors deployed = higher reward multiplier
  • Bonus rewards for regionally valuable data (seismic in fault zones, flood data in river basins)
  • Operators govern who can buy their data
